15mm heavy weapon troopers

A couple more Security Force Alpha from Alternative Armies HOF range who will be joining either starship crews or the enemy forces in some of my Five Parsecs from Home games.  They'll also be easy to use with my mixed mercenaries for games like Tomorrow's War.

This female trooper has a flamer, ideal for fending off ravenous aliens or clearing out enemy bunkers.  She's been painted in a couple of different greens (one for the fabric, another for the armour plates) and brown boots and gloves, with black/sepia washes as appropriate.

The male trooper has a compact missile launcher to provide some extra anti-armour firepower.  I've given him a camo cape and a fairly dull grey/green paint job.  Apart from the nice red attention-grabbing warhead!

Cultists

I was after some cultist type enemies for games like Five Parsecs from Home so I had an experiment with combining a few different files.  The cultists come from Dutchmogul and include 3 bodies and 2 sets of arms.  The weapons come from dorkfactory "intriguing alien weapons" and set of Adeptus Mechanicus bits which I can no longer find on Thingiverse/Cults3D.  All were resized to 56% of their native 28-32mm size before printing and after clean-up were glued together with gel superglue.

Cultist 1 has a machine pistol and a sword.  He's had a fairly simple colour scheme, as have all the others - green robes and silver weapons with a black wash, flesh hands with a sepia wash.  Base colours were re-used to drybrush highlights as required.

Cultist 2 has a machine pistol and a sword.

Cultist 3 has 2 swords.  The mysterious alien blades have been painted a rust colour before drybrushing silver.

Although the print lines show up, I'm not too worried because they create something of a fabric-like effect on the robes.  I'll print some more of these another day to bulk out the force, I've found some pre-merged files with a range of different small arms.

Cultists and mercenaries prepare for battle...

Rad zombies

I've got some more 15mm zombies to add to my collection, this time some Rad Zombies from Loud Ninja Games / Alternative Armies.  I've only got 4 painted so far, using a fairly fleshy colour scheme.  I used a mixture of Vallejo flesh and bone colours with several thin sepia, black and red washes applied in different places.  Eyes and teeth were picked out with bone and then white.

They're on the large size for 15mm, so will serve as special zombies for my games.

"Wait... is there someone standing behind me?"

I love the poses on these zombies and they'll be great lurking in the ruins of burnt-out cities, ready to ambush unsuspecting explorers...
